ArgyllCMS

Calibeam reads your meter through ArgyllCMS 3.5.0, by Graeme W. Gill (argyllcms.com). It includes these ArgyllCMS programs, unmodified, and runs each one as a separate program:

  • spotread, on macOS and Windows, which takes the meter readings
  • oeminst, on macOS, which converts meter correction files

Calibeam’s own code is not part of these programs and is not linked into them. Together they are distributed under the GNU Affero General Public License, version 3; some of their source files carry the GNU GPL or MIT-style licenses. Calibeam’s terms do not apply to these programs, and nothing in them limits your rights under those licenses.

Source code

The complete corresponding source for the ArgyllCMS programs in Calibeam is free to download:

downloads.calibeam.app/source/argyllcms/3.5.0/

The folder also holds the scripts Calibeam builds the macOS programs with, and every license text. The Windows spotread.exe is the unmodified build published by ArgyllCMS, made from the same source.

Each Calibeam release names the ArgyllCMS version it includes, and the source for that version stays available for as long as the release is offered.

In the app

The same notices, the full license texts, and the source link are in the app, under Settings → Help & about → About Calibeam. The license files also ship with the app itself.

Typefaces

The app includes the Inter, Geist Mono, and Instrument Serif typefaces, used under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. Their full license texts are in the same screen in the app.
